Modeling Both the Context and the User

By Anthony Jameson (2001)

Personal and Ubiquitous Computing, 5(1), 29–33.

Abstract

Research into context-aware and situated interaction risks losing sight of the user. A framework is sketched in which properties of the user’s context are modeled along with more traditional properties of the user. Several implications of this conceptualization are discussed, with references to relevant research.
